Visit Carihuela


It’s a bit touristy and can get crowded during the summer months, but it’s well worth a visit, especially to see the Morro de Torremolinos natural monument, which splits Paseo Marítimo in two. During the summer months, you’ll find it very lively and crowded in the afternoon and evening, so if you prefer a relaxing walk with less crowds, getting up early is the best choice. The funny story is that despite the fact that I often come there in the summer, I never noticed this place. It was recently when I discovered it online, and when I appeared there, I discovered it was closed.

After about 2 hours, you can take a short break to buy a drink. The molino de Inca botanical garden is a garden where you can learn about Hotel Carihuela nature and enjoy the fresh air. If you want to check the whole place, it is better to take the tourist bus with about 2 euros per trip.

You can certainly spend some time wandering the streets and taking pictures of them. However, avoid busy times, such as noon, evening and weekends. The best time to have a more relaxing experience is early in the morning.

The streets of this district still retain their fishing tradition, their humble origins and the belief that the spirit of Torremolinos is housed here. Tivoli World is one of the most popular amusement parks in Torremolinos. The park has been offering entertainment and excitement since 1972 and remains one of the best coastal getaways today.

The bars, the people, the restaurants, the proximity to Puerto Marina… It is a fine sandy beach, with no rocks or shells to annoy you, and popular with children, who can build spectacular sand castles here. The water is clean and the perfect temperature, and there is grass next to the palm trees, so you can sunbathe without getting sand if you prefer. Go in the second half of April and you will be able to see the local festival take place. An easy walk to benalmádena marina or a longer walk to Torremalinos along a perfectly flat and clean walk. Shops bars and restaurants along the way with a lovely back street full of attractions, call the Elephant bar for a refreshing drink on a hot day.

Or if you want to take a comfortable walk, it only takes 2-3 hours to see all the things in the garden. It includes various animals such as owls, snakes, birds and more. There are many species of trees and beautiful birds that are an ideal place for walking. It has a small museum, some houses, statues and a large fountain in front.
